Frequently Asked Questions

1: What games can I rent from Gameflirt?

We stock hundreds of games from the latest new releases to the top bestsellers.  We are aiming to provide the next generation gamer with ALL the current and forthcoming release titles.  We currently stock titles for the Sony PSP and PS3, the Microsoft Xbox 360, and the Nintendo Wii.

2: How does it work?

The Gameflirt membership allows you to rent as many games as you like each month for as long as you like. There are no return dates or late fees!

  • The Beginner Plan - Members can have a maximum of 1 game out on rent at any one time.
  • The Intermediate Plan - Members can have a maximum of 2 games out on rent at any one time.
  • The Advanced Plan - Members can have a maximum of 3 games out at any one time.  This plan is reserved for existing members.

Once you have finished playing a game, simply put it in the pre-paid return envelope and put it in the post.
When we have received your game, we will send out the next available game in your wishlist via first class post.

3: How should I look after the game discs?

Please use the following guidelines when handling games.

  • Handle games carefully, touching only the centre hole and the edge. Never touch the flat surface of a disc - this can scratch the surface and render it unusable.
  • Do not leave the game exposed to extreme heat or direct sunlight.
  • Do not let the bottom of the disk (the blank side) touch any surface except when it is in the protective case.
  • Store the game in the protective case when not in use.

If you should encounter playing problems, the game disc may need cleaning. Clean with a damp, lint free, non-abrasive cloth. Do not use any cleaning agents. Wipe the game disc using straight motions from the inside hole to the outer edge. Do not use circular motions when cleaning the disc.

4: How do I cancel my membership?

You must log into your account and click the cancel link in the game plan section.

Once we have received all outstanding games, your membership will be cancelled. We will not cancel your membership until all outstanding games have been returned to us.  If we do not receive the games back from you within 72 hours of you cancelling your membership, you will continue to be billed your normal monthly fee.

Members MUST obtain proof of postage when returning games during the cancellation period, failure to do so may result in the registered debit/credit being charged the "Keep It!" price to cover the costs of any lost games during this time.

5: What if I have forgotten my password?

Click on the Forgotten Password link in the Sign In area. We will automatically email your password to the email address you used to register with Gameflirt.

6: What should I do if I have lost the game?

Please let the Customer Services team know by emailing customerservices@gameflirt.co.uk with Lost Disc in the subject of your email. Please remember to include your name, username and game title in the body of your email.  Gameflirt reserves the right to charge you the recommended retail price if you are responsible for the loss of a disc.

7: What if I lose the pre-paid envelope or protective sleeve?

If you have lost the return envelope, please return the disc in its protective sleeve to the following address:

If you have also lost the protective shell, please make sure the game disc is adequately protected before sending it back to us.

Please note that if the package is over 60g, you will need to add more stamps to cover the postage costs. 
Gameflirt reserves the right to charge for damage occurring in transit.

8: What should I do if the game doesn't play?

  • Use a soft, linen free, clean cloth to wipe both sides of the disc as needed.
  • Always wipe from the centre outwards in straight lines to clean the disc.
  • If the disc still doesn't play, please send it back to us and email customerservices@gameflirt.co.uk with Damaged Game in the subject field. Please remember to include your name, username and game title in the body of your email and we'll send out the next available game from your wishlist as soon as the you've returned the faulty disc.

Gameflirt reserves the right to charge you the recommended retail price of a game if you are responsible for damage to a disc.

9: Why am I not receiving any games?

There are a few reasons you may not be receiving games from us:

  • You may not have completed your registration. Please check your inbox or junk email folder for your registration email from Gameflirt. If you've not received it, please email customerservices@gameflirt.co.uk
  • You do not have enough games in your wishlist. To make the most of your Gameflirt membership, you must have at least 10 available games in your wishlist at all times so we have a range of games to send to you. To find out what we mean by available titles, please see Why do I need at least 10 games in my wishlist.
  • Your games have been delayed or lost in the post. If we have sent you an email saying your game has been despatched, but you have not received it within 10 days, report this to customerservices@gameflirt.co.uk. Please remember to include your name, username and game title in the body of your email.
  • We may have been unable to collect your monthly subscription. If we haven't been able to collect payment for some reason e.g. your card hasn't got enough funds or your card has expired, we automatically stop sending you games until the details have been updated and payment has been collected. We will notify you by email to notify you to update your details. Please update your details as soon as possible so we can collect payment and your account can be activated again.

10: Why do I need at least 10 games in my wishlist?

To make the most out of your Gameflirt membership, we recommend you keep at least 10 currently released games in your wishlist at all times. This is to ensure that we have a good selection of games to send you allowing you to receive a constant supply of games to play.

11: How does "KEEP IT" work?

The "KEEP IT" feature allows Gameflirt members to purchase games at a discounted price via the wishlist.  Simply click the "KEEP IT" button and enter your payment details, you will then be sent the case and manual for the game along with the next available game from your wishlist.

12: How do I change my membership plan?

Contact our Customer Services team via email at customerservices@gameflirt.co.uk with "Change Plan" in the email subject. Please remember to include your name, username and game title in the body of your email.  Please state clearly which plan you wish to change, both from and to.

If you wish to change from the Advanced Plan to the Intermediate Plan you must return 1 game before the change of membership takes effect, this also applies when changing from the Intermediate Plan to the Beginner Plan.

Please allow 7 days from your payment date to make any necessary changes 

13: How do I return a game?

When you have finished playing a game, just put it into the pre-paid return envelope and put it in the post.  You may return one or two games at a time but please return each game in its own individual envelope. As soon as we receive the game, we'll send the next available game from your wishlist.

14: How can I pay for the service?

We accept most major credit and debit cards. After your free trial has ended we automatically debit your card for your monthly subscription fee.

Please note that we do not take monies prior to the expiry of your free trial, however we do pre-authorise your card to ensure that you have funds available to meet your monthly subscription.
